Close the circuit by attaching to a power supply. Remember to turn off the power before working. Attach first the wire to the alarm, then to the trigger switch then to the control on-off switch then lastly to the buzzer. Attach the circuit to the power lastly. Check the connection, if you have a tester its time to use it now. Check everything thoroughly before putting the power back on.

When activated the door alarm system will buzz every time the door is open. Now you see the flaw. It only takes the intruder to close the door for the alarm to silence. But still, in most cases. The alarm should jolt everyone to wakefulness.

For example if you walk in front of a painting (your body temperature differs from the painting), the infrared alarm system will then detect a violation of the temperature and then will eventually set off an alarm.
Infrared alarm systems do not trigger an alarm if the room warms up and cools down slowly. Infrared alarm systems have a built in microchip that enables the infrared alarm system to adjust itself for slow and regular temperature variations, so that the infrared alarm system will not be set off by a change of climate.
The sensors of the infrared alarm systems cannot detect thru walls and windows because it will only calculate the infrared temperature on the first thing or object the beam lands. Most of these infrared detecting sensors are small and inconspicuous.
The only setback with infrared alarm system is that this system is very expensive. A single infrared sensor device can not protect the whole house. The following is a great cookie recipe from

Mauna Loa.

Mauna Loa & White Chip Cookies

1 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 - 12oz. package of White Chips
1 1/2 cups Mauna Loa Macadamia Baking Pieces

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Cream butter and sugars until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well.

 Blend in flour, baking soda and salt. Stir in Classic

White chips and macadamia nut pieces.

 Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking pans. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
